Fall Bible Study

Want a peak into our fall lineup?

Watch for the church Groups Event in the Worship Center in between services on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Meet the leaders, sign up for a fall Bible Study.

Here are a couple of the Bible Studies we are offering in the fall. Studies begin September, 13, 14, & 15, 2011.

Conversation Peace
Small group Leaders: Lynn Donovan, Wednesday morning.

Conversation Peace: The Power of Transformed Speech - by Mary Kassian provides masterfully presents seven biblical principles to help women revolutionize their speech habits and positively avoid sharing gossip, throwing negative barbs, or snapping sarcastic replies throughout everyday life. Discover how you can improve your relationships by allowing God's Word to transform your heart.

David: Seeking a Heart Like His
Small group leaders: Pam Dvorak, Katie Hougen, Tuesday Evening, Wednesday morning

David: Seeking a Heart Like His -by Beth Moore guides the participant through this compelling women's Bible study of David.

God will never give up on you. Explore how David's life proves this promise to be true in this updated edition of the best selling A Heart Like His: Seeking the Heart of God Through a Study of David. In this examination of the “man after God's own heart,” David will delight and disappoint you. You'll want to be just like him at times and nothing like him at others. If you've ever experienced doubts, temptations, losses, family problems, or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you!

Living Your Life As a Beautiful Offering  By Angela Thomas
Small group leaders: Laura Drummond, Lisa Chlebek -Thursday Morning

Angela encourages women to rekindle their hearts by returning their lives to God. How can an imperfect life with blemishes and scars reflect back to God a true gratefulness for His love? Jesus knows you are not perfect, but He also knows that you are made perfect in Him, if only you will come and surrender to Him daily.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives us His compassionate instruction for everyday living and then wraps His teaching with the promise of His blessing. “Jesus wants us to learn to live in a way that reflects the kingdom of God to the world, to live as a woman with a kingdom heart,” writes Angela. “I truly want to be that woman. And Jesus says that when you are, it’s beautiful and blessed."

Made To Crave
By: Lysa TerKeurst  Small Group Leader: Jeanine Harris, Wednesday Evenings

Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. The reality is we were made to crave. Craving isn't a bad thing. But we must realize God created us to crave more of him. Many of us have misplaced that craving by overindulging in physical pleasures instead of lasting spiritual satisfaction. If you are struggling with unhealthy eating habits, you can break the 'I'll start again Monday' cycle, and start feeling good about yourself today.

Retreat Reunion

Mix of new photos from our Women's Spring Retreat. If you missed it, be sure to watch for registration for next year. It sells out quickly.

Pam and I (Lynn) would like to thank the entire retreat team for a phenomenal event. Lives were changed and Jesus was magnified.
